The Frenchies always seem to get away with it. Crazy ass names (The club 'Rectum' in Gaspar Noe's 'Irreversible' springs to mind), accents that women love and uber chic bands with the most insanely addictive set of tunes you could ever imagine. Fast cars, drugs, casual sex - I'm just happy my Rage Against the Machine tickets arrived and didn't get nicked by the postman.
Another Parisian duo revving it up are, Bot'Ox (we could NEVER get away with that name) with their latest single, 'Overdrive', out on I'm A Cliche Records this summer. Expect rolling basslines, krautrock influences and mad as hell electro beats.
